This sort of thing is said as a form of attack on the person who is prepared to say they do not believe in a God/Creator. "Oh! then, you Atheists just have a religion of your own based on materialism. You deny spiritual values and think fulfillment can come from consumerism and hedonism."
Does this sort of thing sound familiar?
It is designed to put you on the defensive and if you fall for it they have got you where they want you.
So what is a good answer to this psychological trickery?
