So Who is Delusional, Cardinal Pell?

Watch this space. Another fascinating story from the Catholic Church.
At least this guy is not a pedophile, just a fraud.
This priestly sinner carried out a fraud on his parishioners in NSW and guess where he has ended up now.
The Cardinal has declared him delusional.
He is right, however we really can consider anyone who believes in miracles is also delusional.

My, my, lucky old Perth. It
My, my, lucky old Perth.
It won't matter a scrap, the faithful will accept him and excuse his misdemeanors. They always do. I thought it was interesting to read that, "Father Abourjaily could not be contacted because was away on a "pilgrimage". "
I wonder where it was to this time.
We don't need to wonder whose money he would have been using though.
You people never stop dumping
You people never stop dumping on the Catholic Church do you.
In any major organization there are bound to be occasional cases where someone does the wrong thing.
Have a look around you. There are politicians, businessmen, teachers and doctors in the news every day for all sorts of wrong doing.
Why carry on about the very rare cases where a priest does something wrong.
Consider all the good done by priests.
How about Father Brian Morrison who gave his life to running a major charity in Perth.
I haven't noticed you saying anything about him.
Isn't it time you gave credit to the church for the good work its priests do?
Don't tell me how good
Don't tell me how good priests are, Mary, tell me how we get rid of them.
Mary, You seem to be a
Mary,
You seem to be a defender of the Catholic Church and you have also missed the point.
It doesn't matter whether he is a priest or not, that Father Abourjaily would still be a cheat.
It also doesn't matter whether he was a priest or not, Father Brian Morrison would still have gone out of his way to help other people in distress.
That's the kind of people they both are.
What is under the spotlight here is that Archbishop Pell has allowed Abourjaily to continue as a priest, a person who is supposed to guide the rest of us on morality. What kind of guidance is that?
It is the Catholic Church
It is the Catholic Church itself that needs to learn morality from the secular institutions such as the law courts.
CORRECTION George Pell is a
CORRECTION
George Pell is a Cardinal not an Archbishop.
His correct title is Cardinal Pell.
It is not clear whether he or any other church official sent Father Abourjaily to any parish in Perth, but the man may have found his own way to a parish.
As far as I can ascertain he has no official duties at that parish.
