Hotbed of hatred

What chance of peace in the Middle East when both sides allow extremism to ferment.
The following article illustrates the way in which apparently normal people become vicious thugs when programed for hatred.
What is even sadder is that some the people described are likely to be the grandchildren of people who died in the Holocaust.

Do the Israeli really want a
Do the Israeli really want a peace deal? Does Iran want peace.
There are too many people on both sides who don't want peace. They like conflict and they benefit from it.

That old Arab had it coming. What was he doing living on Jewish land? It is our land that God gave us and no one will take it from us. Not Hamas and not Barack Obama.
Israel has a right to defend itself against terrorists. Those who expect Israel to accept the rockets and suicide bombs are anti-semites."

Look at this comment following that article. Does that woman really think God allocated land to one particular tribe a few thousand years ago.
This biblical rubbish is used to justify hatred and murder all over the world even in supposedly democratic Israel. What hope is there when people believe or pretend to believe such rubbish?
The funny thing is that they
The funny thing is that they all worship the same god.

An eight year old girl programmed for hatred.
Israel lets the 'settlers' behave like the worst Muslim fanatics.
We should be very cautious about uncritical support for Israel.
No carusmm they don't all
No carusmm they don't all worship the same god, it's only Muslims who pretend to believe such rubbish to implicate us all in the belief that Islam is the same as all other religion, when it definitely is not.
When you are dealing with people who believe in insanity, as Islamists do, then you have to treat them as being insane, and life is too short to accommodate insanity as being normal.
Surprisingly, Anne, I do not
Surprisingly, Anne, I do not find you irrational.
Anne all religions believe in
Anne all religions believe in insanity. The difference being that whereas Christianity, and Judaism to some extent, believe that god intercedes in life, not directly, but through our experiences, Islamists believe that their god talks to them literally through the words in the Koran, which they are unable to modify or break free of.
If we have to deal with insanity then let us deal with the most dangerous insanity first, that manifests itself in: circumcision of little girls, forced arranged marriages, honour killings, limb amputations, stoning of people to death, suicide bombings and vicious laws that belong in the Midlle ages, not the modern world.
Why does Australia so
Why does Australia so uncritically support Israel?
Why shouldn't it, Jenny? The
Why shouldn't it, Jenny? The Palestinians cheered at 9/11; as far as I am concerned, scrap them. And if anyone dares call me a bigot, I can still remember the happy little faces on the garbage.
Arafat was given a deal by Israel that would have seen the West Bank and Gaza returned, he refused it because he wanted Jerusalem as well. The filth cheered; as far as I am concerned, stuff them, they have had their chance. If they want to live in cloud-cuckoo-land, let them but let them not think that they should be liked because of it.
Jenny, could it be that
Jenny, could it be that Muslims, by their oft demonstrated ignorant primitive backwardness are not likable and thereby unsupportable. I don't think it's uncritical, support, but merely pragmatic.
