Yes no doubt the such goings on must raise questions about what our young men (and women) are fighting for in a corrupt country adicted to a corrupt religion, but the old saying rings with more meaning than ever "all it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing". What would the world be like today if people had always ran away when faced with the diabolical evil that ignorant societies have allowed to take over their lives?

Is it moral and right to leave the victims of such evilness to suffer forever because it's easier for us to 'cross to the other side of the road'? It's only by sacrifice that things can become better and the world can become more civilised.

Rarely if ever do sins represent acts of true faith. It is therefore best to look for more worldly explanations for the misdeeds of religious people. I do this when I can without apology. One sin that I am not guilty of is a narrowness of vision.
